BIO

Allison Harvey  is a tireless advocate for our community.  Allison's legal practice focuses on helping small businesses and local individuals in need with some of the most important decisions of their life.  Mostly transactional work, Allison's law practice has given her the experience needed to be able to work effectively both with large corporate boards and on a smaller scale.  Allison's legal background allows her to understand the complexity of the laws we must adhere to and how to properly implement programs within the confines of the law.

Allison's extensive volunteer and board service has given her the insight she needs to understand how a board operates and how to effect change when necessary.

Allison is currently a Trustee and the Clerk of the Placer Hills Unions School District Board, Past President for two years for the PHUSD board, Past President of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce (where she lead the organization to assist our community in a very big way during the COVID pandemic by bringing free PPE to businesses in need, organizing business education seminars and implementing drastic changes to how the Auburn Chamber operates bringing the organization more virtual than ever before) and a current board member on the Auburn Ski Club.

Allison is no stranger to challenge and she rises to meet it every time. Allison earned her law degree from McGeorge School of Law at night while working full time. She graduated with her Juris Doctor degree earning multiple honors during her schooling. After law school, and passing the bar on her first attempt, Allison worked in a highly sought after Corporate Counsel position for a technology company in Roseville, California.  In 2011 Allison, after having her second child, Allison accepted the challenge of starting a small business in a down turned economy. The law firm has been a success with Allison and the law firm being named Best of the Best on eight separate occasions.

Allison was recognized for her scholastic achievements in law school by being named to the Roger J. Traynor Honors Society, receiving Gordon Foundation Scholarships, being named to the International Advocacy Honors Board, and receiving Trial Advocacy Honors in addition to being named to the Deans List. She was recognized for her community support for the attorney mentor work she did with the Placer County Peer Court program and was named the 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 Best of the Best Attorney by the Auburn community.  Allison was also named one of the top 40 business professionals under the age of 40 in the Sacramento region in 2017. Both in 2016 and 2017 Allison was nominated for the award of Women Who Mean Business by the Auburn Journal.  Allison was also named the Volunteer of the Year in 2020 by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.

In 2013 Allison volunteered as Chief of Staff for the campaign for Garth Brooks who was nominated as Man of the Year with all proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  In a short 10 week period Allison and two other campaign members raised over $24,000 to benefit the Sacramento Chapter of LLS.  Allison has also participated in Dancing with the Placer County Stars, a fundraiser for local non-profit Stand Up Placer, an organization that supports survivors of domestic violence and was named the Star Fundraiser.

In her free time Allison enjoys volunteering her time, working out, cooking, skiing during the winter, and spending time with her family and close friends.
